The number of students being conducted to inquiries increased to 230. One student was punished with the ejection from the faculty and another one with one-year removal from the faculty.

In CMF, The Chief of Biophysics Department, Prof. Dr. Sefik Dursun, was fired from his duty because of being against the ban.

"HEAD SCARF IS A SYMBOL"
The Human Rights Organization in Turkey declared that: "The head scarf is a symbol which represents an ideology."

In Uludag University, inquiries of 126 students with head scarves were performed.

The Chief of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Department in CMF, Prof. Dr. Ayhan Yücel, was relieved of his duty because he did not apply the ban.

The members of the organization of Human Dignity and Rights coming to İstanbul visited the students of CMF being deprived of attending the lessons and declared their support to those students.
